How I Can Help

Areas I Work In

Most of the clients I work with are competent, capable, and quietly exhausted. These are the places we usually start.

About

Suzanna Donovan, MA, LPC Associate

Suzanna Donovan, MA, LPC Associate (TX #102027)  |  Supervised by Rhonda Septelka, LPC-S (TX #76324)

I work with adults who are carrying more than they let on. Maybe you are the one everyone else relies on. Maybe things look good from the outside and feel heavy underneath.

My approach is warm and direct. We will look at the patterns underneath the stress, not just manage the symptoms, and we will do it at a pace that respects everything else you are holding.

June Bridge Counseling is fully online, so sessions fit into your actual week.

Common Reasons To Reach Out

Common Questions

Questions People Ask First

Do you work with clients outside The Woodlands?

Yes. I'm an LPC Associate licensed in Texas and practice under the clinical supervision of Rhonda Septelka, LPC-S. I can work with anyone physically located in Texas at the time of the session. That includes Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and everywhere in between.

What does a first session look like?

The first session is mostly me listening. We talk about what brought you in, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different. By the end we will have a rough sense of direction. You do not need to prepare anything.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. I am in network with [INSURANCE PANELS] and I also see private pay clients. Full details are on the Rates & Insurance page.

How long does therapy take?

It depends on what you are working on. Some people come in for a specific issue and feel resolved in a few months. Others stay longer because the work keeps being useful. We check in on that together rather than me deciding for you.

Is online therapy actually as effective as in person?

For most of what I treat, research shows online therapy performs comparably to in-person work. What matters more is the fit between you and your therapist. The free consultation exists so you can test that before committing.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes, with a small number of legal exceptions I will walk you through in the first session, such as risk of serious harm. Because I am an LPC Associate, my work is reviewed by my clinical supervisor, Rhonda Septelka, LPC-S, as part of standard supervision.
